Merel van Glabbeek is a fashion label founded in 2015. The label offers sustainable, exclusive clothing and unique pieces that feature extensive handcrafting. The collections have a steady focus on attention to detail, craftsmanship and unusual material combinations. The latest collection ‘Plan B’ is solely made from waste and left over materials.

As a designer, Merel van Glabbeek is always in search of the balance between structure and chaos. Her designs are defined by mixed contrasting and strong, dark, feminine silhouettes.

Merel van Glabbeek has a technical background and has interned at names like Spijkers en Spijkers, Percy Irausquin and Studio Ayqido. In 2013, she graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute with the collection, ‘SHAME’. As a student, she interned under Ann Sofie Back and was one of the designers for Individuals SS/13.
